Revue Banque: Jean-François Serval and Christian de Boissieu discuss the challenges of public debt

Jean-François Serval, founder and chairman of Groupe Audit Serval, and Christian de Boissieu, economist, professor emeritus at Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne), vice-chairman of the Cercle des économistes, director and chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Fondation Concorde, discuss the challenges of public debt in the November issue of Revue Banque (No. 873).

On the subject of the sustainability of public debt, Revue Banque offers a cross-cutting look at the findings and the method that would make it possible to control the drift in public debt. This particularly rich exchange gives Jean-François Serval the opportunity to highlight the approach he formulated in his latest book for "getting out of the debt trap "*: transforming debt into productive investment.

To round off this dossier on the sustainability of public debt, Patrick Artus, Economic Adviser at Natixis, gives his analysis of this issue, which is crucial to the economic future of many nations, including France.

The issue of Revue Banque will be freely available on the magazine's website at the end of November.
